Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Apex Motorsport website and to enquiries you send about a karting session at our center. Please read them before you send an enquiry. If you do not agree with them, please leave the site and do not send a form. A visit that we have confirmed is also subject to the reply we send you and to the briefing and instructions given at the center on the day.
These terms work together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Disclaimer. If a sentence on a marketing page and a sentence in these terms describe the same point differently, these terms and our written confirmation describe the agreement.
Who we are
Apex Motorsport is a karting center at 43 Bradford Rd, Bedfordview, Germiston, 2008, South Africa. Phone: +27 11 743 2772. Email: [email protected]. These terms are between you and Apex Motorsport. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the center. “You” means the person using the website or asking for a session, including a person who enquires on behalf of a group.
The same name, address, phone number, and email address appear in the footer of each page so you can contact the business that published the site. Messages about these terms should use that address, phone number, or email. The contact page opens an email draft to the same mailbox.
The website
The website describes recreational karting, open sessions, group visits, beginners sessions, track information, driver preparation, safety notes, and how to contact the center. The pages exist so you can understand the kind of visit you want and ask for it. They are information from the center about the activity at Bedfordview.
Page text can help you prepare questions. The briefing you receive at the center governs the session on the day, including how the session is run, which safety equipment is used, and whether a person takes part. If a page and a reply from the center differ, follow the reply and the briefing.
We may add, remove, or rewrite pages, and we may take the site offline for a time while it is updated. A missing page does not cancel a visit we have already confirmed by email or phone. It does mean you should contact us if you cannot find a detail you need.
Enquiries and bookings
The booking page and the contact page contain forms. When you submit a form, your device opens an email draft addressed to [email protected]. The subject line starts with “Apex Motorsport enquiry”. The body lists the fields you filled in. The enquiry is sent when you send that email from your own email application. You can also phone +27 11 743 2772 or write to the mailbox yourself. If you close the draft without sending it, we have not received a request.
A preferred date, a group size, or a click on the form button is a request. It does not, by itself, reserve a kart or hold a time. A session is booked when Apex Motorsport confirms it by email or by phone. Until you have that confirmation, please treat the time as unreserved. If we cannot offer the date you asked for, we will say so and, where we can, suggest another time. Please wait for the reply before you travel for a session that has not been confirmed.
Give us a name we can reply to, a working email address or phone number, the kind of session, and the number of people. If you are asking for several drivers, tell us that in the first message so we can see whether the session can take the group. We confirm what we can actually host. We may ask a follow-up question before we confirm.
This website does not show prices and does not take payment. It has no checkout and it does not store card numbers. Any amount for a session is agreed with the center by phone or email, not calculated by the website. Keep card numbers out of the enquiry form. If a charge applies, we will tell you how it is to be paid when we confirm the visit. A confirmation describes the visit we have agreed. It is the document to rely on, together with the briefing.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a request, contact us as soon as you can on +27 11 743 2772 or at [email protected]. Include the name and date from your earlier message so we can find it. If a session has already been confirmed, we will tell you whether it can be moved and what the next step is. A new date is held when we confirm the new date. Please do not travel for a replacement time that we have not confirmed.
We may also need to change or cancel a confirmed session, for example if the session cannot be run safely. If we do that, we will contact you on the details you gave us and explain the options we can offer. Please make sure the phone number and email address in your enquiry stay correct up to the day of the visit.
At the center
Karting is an active track activity. Drivers share the circuit with other karts. You must follow staff instructions, use the safety equipment you are given, watch the signals used in the session, and drive at a pace you can control. You must not drive in a way that is intended to cause unsafe contact. You must not enter the track area except as staff direct.
Staff may refuse a session, pause it, or stop it if a person does not follow those instructions, if equipment is not being used as directed, or if continuing would be unsafe. A refusal or a stop on those grounds is part of running the session. The safety notes on the driver information page are a preview so you know what to expect. They do not replace the briefing.
Participation requirements for a particular session, including who may drive, are confirmed by the center before or at the session. If you are booking for someone else, you are responsible for giving us correct contact details and for making sure that person knows the visit is confirmed only when we say so, and that they must attend the briefing. A parent or guardian should make the enquiry when the visit includes a child, and should be the person we can reach about that visit.
Arrive in time for the briefing for the session we confirmed. The people running the session will tell you where to go at 43 Bradford Rd. Photographs on the website illustrate go-kart racing. Staff will show you the session you are actually joining.
Acceptable use of the website
Use the site for lawful enquiries about Apex Motorsport and for reading the information we publish. You agree that you will not:
- Interfere with the pages, the forms, or the files that make the site load.
- Send malicious code, misleading identities, or messages that have nothing to do with a visit to the center.
- Use the phone number or the email address to send unrelated advertising or bulk mail.
- Copy the site and present it as a different business, or suggest that another business is Apex Motorsport.
- Collect personal information from the site about other people. The site does not publish customer lists.
- Attempt to read another person’s enquiry or mailbox.
We may ignore a message that breaks these rules, and we may report conduct to the relevant authority where the law allows or requires it.
Intellectual property
The Apex Motorsport name, the page text we have written, and the layout of this website are used for this karting center. You may share a link to a page so someone else can read it. You may print a page for your own visit. You may not copy the site and republish it as your own, and you may not use the name Apex Motorsport for another karting business.
Photographs illustrate go-kart racing, including karts, helmets, barriers, and groups of drivers. They support the description of the activity. They are not a promise of a particular kart, a particular lap, or a particular result, and they are not a licence for you to reuse the images on another commercial site. If you need a picture for a purpose other than visiting us, ask by email before you use one.
Liability
We take care to keep the pages accurate and to describe the center, the address, and the way enquiries work. A page can still contain an error, a detail can change before we update the text, or the site can be unavailable for a time. Session details that matter for your visit are the ones in our confirmation and in the briefing, not a paragraph that has gone out of date. If you see a mistake, tell us and we will correct the page.
To the extent the law of the Republic of South Africa allows, Apex Motorsport is not liable for loss that comes only from relying on an enquiry the center has not confirmed, or from a third-party website you open from a link, such as a map or a social network. Those sites are operated by their own providers.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that South African law does not allow us to exclude or limit. That includes liability for harm caused by a failure to take reasonable care where the law does not allow that exclusion. The safety duties that apply on the day of a session are met through the way the session is run and through the instructions given there. These terms do not ask you to waive a right that the law keeps in place.
Read the Disclaimer with these terms. The disclaimer explains the role of the pages, the risk of karting, photographs, and external links in more detail.
Privacy
Personal information you send is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. The cookie notice and local storage are described in the Cookie Policy. Sending an enquiry means you have read that we use the details to reply and to arrange the visit you asked for. You can ask for a copy, a correction, or a deletion as the Privacy Policy explains.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The karting center is in Bedfordview, Germiston, Gauteng. You and Apex Motorsport both accept that the courts of South Africa may hear a dispute about these terms or about a visit to the center, without limiting any right a consumer has to approach a forum the law makes available.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date under the heading. The new version applies to new use of the site and to new enquiries from the time it is posted. A session we have already confirmed stays on the confirmation we sent you, plus the briefing for that session. If you send a new enquiry after the date changes, the new terms apply to that enquiry. Please check the date when you return to the site.
